This dataset contains FFCWS focal children genotype data derived from the PsychChip bead array developed by the Psychiatric Genetics Consortium and Illumina, Inc. (San Diego, CA). This array interrogates > 590,000 loci including 265,000 proven tag SNPs found on the Infinium Core-24 BeadChip, 245,000 markers from the Infinium Exome-24 BeadChip, and 50,000 markers associated with common psychiatric disorders.
The genotype data is provided in plink format (Purcell et al., 2007). The genotype data can be linked to and analyzed in the context of a limited set of phenotype variables including child’s sex, parent and self-reported race/ethnicity, and self-reported or directly-measured height, weight, and body mass index (at Year 15).
Please note:
- To download this file, please request access through the dbGaP data archive here. You do not need to complete a restricted data application with CRCFW.
- This file cannot be merged to other restricted use contract data or to the public FFCWS data unless you also apply for the Genotype Array Crosswalk. The crosswalk file contains the ID numbers in the Genotype Array file which is available through the dbGaP repository and the FFCWS public idnum (used on all FFCWS public and contract data files). This file can be used as a crosswalk file so that the Genotype Array data can be merged with the rest of the FFCWS data.
- Further detail on the creation and content of these files can be found in the documentation. For additional information, please contact [email protected].
